A woman who is accused of stealing 80 panties and money from the house where her mate-in-law lived is now trying to prove her innocence in court.
The woman, a 46-year-old blue-collar worker of Bog Walk, St Catherine, appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
When the action was mentioned before Resident Magistrate (RM) Marcia Dunbar-Green, she pleaded not embarrassed.
There was some suppressed laughter when the investigating officer told the court she counted 80 panties and 14 pairs of brassieres.
