A renowned song that stirred up some controversy on Acadiana's airwaves is now taking the next action into merchandise.
It started last week when Acadiana attorney and cajun savoir vivre advocate, Warren Perrin, threatened to file an FCC complaint against tranny station KBON for playing Jamie Bergeron's song RCA (Registered Coonass). To strive with back, and per fan's requests, Bergeron said he's now selling a new line of t-shirts touting the factious title.
Friday night at a show in New Iberia wasn't a debut for Bergeron's ditty RCA, but it was the first release of his new t-shirts.
"We think they're awesome!" said Lauren Agbert and Rachael Curtis.
"I like it, I girlfriend it, they selling them like hotcakes," said Michelle Touchet, after buying one of the shirts.
Bergeron said he asseverative to print the shirts after the recent controversy surrounding his song RCA.
"If you look back on all the Facbeook messages and essence, we've had almost a 98% support I would say, through all the comments and everything. And we've had a lot of requests to do t-shirts or go back to bumper stickers so I did it," said Bergeron.
